The Fayette Falcon Finishes up its 185th Year of Publication

The Fayette Falcon is finishing up its 185th year of publication and service to the people of Fayette County. The Falcon is the oldest newspaper in West Tennessee and we take pride in that and in the history of our archives. Butch Rhea began working at the paper in 1965 after graduating high school. After his death in 2020, his wife, Carolyn Rhea and the Falcon staff, Debra Joyner and son Randy Rhea, are still running the newspaper and serving the people of Fayette County. Pictured is the original location of the Falcon building.
