Oakland Special Census Forms Mailed

The Town of Oakland has mailed the 2023 Special Census forms to every residential address in the Town. Residents should receive the mailing this week. Town Manager Jay Johnson said the envelope is clearly marked as being from the Town. Residents are asked to complete the enclosed form and return to the Town in the self-addressed, stamped envelope provided. Resi-dents may also go to the website www.oaklandcensus.org and complete the form on-line. “It is very important the citizens of Oakland participate in the Special Census” according to Mayor Mike Brown. “This information is important to the Town for the planning of our services and for the financial assistance it will bring to the Town from the State of Tennessee.”
