Congressman David Kustoff Visited Rossville and Moscow
Congressman David Kustoff who represents the 8th District of Tennessee was in Rossville, Tennessee last Friday, August 25th, to meet with Rossville Mayor Judy Watters and aldermen. They held a roundtable discussion and he spoke on some bills he has worked on. Two bills have passed the House on lowering energy costs and to complete the wall and protect the southern border. He stated our national debt is now at $32 trillion and he did not support the 3 large plans of trillions that were all new money. Congress goes back in session on September 12th and two bills that are up for renewal are the FAA bill and the Farm bill. Kustoff commented we will continue to see higher interest rates as long as the Fed sees problems with the economy. After his visit with Rossville, Kustoff stopped off on his way to Hardeman County at Lewis Hardware in Moscow, where he spoke with several customers and listened to concerns.
