Somerville Moose Lodge #2206 Recognizes First Responders

Somerville Moose Lodge #2206 held its annual First Responders Appreciation Day lunch. Police, firefighters, and EMTs from all departments in Fayette County as well as 911 Dispatchers and Chickasaw Electric employees were invited. Attendees were treated with a free BBQ lunch and door prizes. First responders were also given “Tommy Moose” plush dolls. Tommy Moose is a friendly, playful, cuddly moose doll whose sole purpose is to bring comfort to children in times of stress, uncertainty, or anxiety. He personifies one of the cornerstone tenants of the Loyal Order of Moose: caring for children. Thank you to all First Responders!
