Wesley Parks Jr. is the 2023 Hay State Champion at the Tennessee State Fair

The Fayette County Extension Office is proud of Wesley Parks Jr. for winning 1st place with his bermudagrass hay at the Tennessee State Fair. Mr. Parks entered the warm season perennial grass (bermudagrass from a square bale) category. Hay entries were judged on physical aspects of the hay. Physical aspects included leafiness, maturity, odor, color, cleanness, and texture. Mr. Parks won first place, beating everyone who entered from across the state.
