Moscow Public Works Employees Complain of No Pay by Mayor Mitchell for Weekend Water Testing
The City of Moscow Board met on Monday, November 13, 2023. Public Works employees Jimmy Tetleton and Curtis told the board since water has to be tested each day, it’s been an automatic 2 hours pay for Saturday and 2 hours for Sunday to get water tested. Mayor Brenda Mitchell said we have now put in a face recognition clock and I told Jimmy he has to clock out. They said the mayor told us we will not get paid. The board voted to pay the minimum two hours and for them to clock in and out for the time it takes them to do the test. Read more in this week’s Fayette Falcon!
