Drug Free Fayette Donates Drug Safety Lockboxes To Fayette Cares Shelter

On February 2, 2024 Drug Free Fayette and Fayette County Sheriff’s Department teamed up with Fayette Cares to donate drug safety lock boxes for clients of Fayette Cares Shelter. These lock boxes will provide a safe place for clients to keep prescription medications safe from young children and are mobile boxes clients can take with them when they no longer need shelter at Fayette Cares. Drug Free Fayette is a prevention coalition for Fayette County that focuses on youth substance abuse and misuse prevention. The coalition meets monthly and has discussed surveys for the community to help assess the prevention needs of Fayette County. Pictured are left to right: Lt.
