Rossville Board Welcomes New Police Chief Stephen Chandler

The Rossville Board met on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. The first item was the swearing in of their new police chief, Stephen Chandler, by city judge Mark McDaniel. Chief Chandler served at the Memphis Police Department for 33 years and left as Deputy Chief Special Operations. He also served in the military as a helicopter pilot. The town will soon take bids for the new water tower and new water wells. The town’s annual BBQ contest, Smokin’ on the Wolf, will be held September 26-28.
