FCPS Engages Families at East, West, and LaGrange-Moscow

Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) recently held Parent Information and Listening Sessions at East Junior High, West Junior High, and LaGrange-Moscow Elementary, bringing together families, students, staff, and community members for meaningful conversations about education and student success.
The sessions provided parents with the opportunity to engage directly with district leaders, ask questions, and share valuable feedback. Superintendent Dr. Don McPherson noted that the insights shared will play an important role in shaping ongoing efforts to strengthen schools across the district.
In addition to the discussions, attendees enjoyed student showcases that highlighted the pride and talent within FCPS. Performances from the band, cheerleaders, and drumline set an energetic and positive tone for the evenings, reflecting the enthusiasm and dedication of the students.
“Fayette County Public Schools greatly values the partnership of our families and community members,” Dr. McPherson said. “Your presence, thoughtful feedback, and ongoing support are essential to the success of our schools. Together, we are working to ensure that every student has access to the highest quality education and the resources needed to thrive.”
The district expressed gratitude to all who participated, emphasizing that the listening sessions are part of an ongoing commitment to collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
